Dear NYAA girls + Minyi, Felicia and Elina,
MEETING TIME: 8.00am on Monday and Wednesday. Bus will pick us up in school and bring us back.
Duration of the course: From 9am to 4pm, including one hour lunch break. (If you want to know more about the course, you may check out this website http://www.splashaxis.com/.
Attire for Kayaking one star course:
Swimsuit inside, Girl guides black T-shirt and PE shorts, Sandals or shoes (NO SLIPPERS).
WHAT to bring:
1) Water bottle
2) Money for Lunch
3) Sun block
4) A set of dry clothes (your own home clothes will do)
COST of course:
$48 per girl.. The school is paying for you, so be responsible girls and turn up for the course you've signed up.
Ms Chan will be bringing all of you to Kallang on Monday, Ms Geja will be with you on Wednesday.

Kayaking 1-star course
Dear girls,
The kayaking course has been confirmed. Please remember to submit your consent forms to me by this Friday morning assembly.
The timing is confirmed to be from 9am to 4pm. So we will meet in school at 8am sharp on 1st Sep and 3rd Sep respectively. Please do not be late for this course. (else we may have to ask you to swim up and join us in the middle of the kallang basin.. )
If your parents are worried bout the safety, let me know so that I can mail them the safety documents which includes the evacuation route, the certifications of the trainers as well as the maintanence of the equipment. :) Although everything has been taken care of by us, please remember that you have to be responsible for your own safety too. Listen carefully to all the instructions given to you and be attentive at all times.
Jolene (and maybe EeNexx) cannot make it for the trip, is there another one who is interested still?? Sec 4 and 5 may apply too..

friday (22 aug)
to all girl guides,
there will be a guide meeting on the stated date above.
so i need you all to bring this following things:
- apron
- dish cloth
- tea towel
- container
- $15 for the camp tshirt
- recipes on the brownies.
reminder:
not all of you are going to cook. only some. so please pick out your own representatives at least 2. the rest will be given other work to do.

Hot Air Balloon
Dear girls,
We will have to disappoint you by postponing the hot air balloon trip to next week because of Ms Geja has to go for a course and I need to work on the teachers' day performance preparations.
As such, we will like to propose the brownie making to be on this friday instead? I will talk to Hidayatul about this tomorrow and please get the information from the notice board or from your patrol leaders.
As for the girl guides photographs, I have handed the order form to Siuting. All of you look great!! Siuting will be collecting the orders and money from all of you. Please do so by this coming Friday. Thank you Siuting for helping us to collate!

Cookies Sale 2008
Dear girls,
We have sold 120 Blue Tins, 120 Green Tins and 20 Red Tins and a grand total of 260 Tins and $2640 in all!
Well Done girls!
Last year our sales was 293 Tins and total of $3104. This year our sales dropped slightly because they dont sell macademia nuts anymore. But it is still a job well done girls! Sec 2 especially!
