I am very happy to say that most of the girls have been attending our sessions regularly and diligently! This goes to show that we treasure our friendship and sisterhood bonding that existed among us.
However there are some girls who still did not meet the attendance criteria. The highlighted names are those who have not been attending Guides session regularly.Please take note that all the attendance are taken very seriously and will be keyed into the school system and eventually reflected in your report cards.

Details for West Division Day and OBS
Date: 12th July 2008 (Saturday)
Time:9am to 3pm
Venue: Zhenghua Secondary School
Competitions:(4 girls per team)

(5) Food Related
(6) Gadget Making
This year we are in charge of the FASHION PARADE station together with Jurongville Secondary School. We will need around 4 girls in this station.

Outward Bound is open for registration. SEC THREE girls who are interested please contact Ms Chan as soon as possible. It is a very fun and good experience and only Sec 3 have the chance to sign up. There are altogether 6 vacancies and we will do it on a first-come-first-serve basis. :)

WALKATHON Preparation and Details..
Dear girls,
After talking to some Sec 1s during the heritage trail, I think it is important for you to know that for every activity you paticipated will contribute to your CCA points. If we win, you will be entitled to more CCA points because we are representing the school in this case.
Walkathon Preparation:
Date: 18th June 2008 (Wednesday)
Time: 12 noon (report to the guide's den)
Attire: PE t-shirt and shorts
Let's win something from this alright!!!
Walkathon:
ATTENDANCE is complusory.
I believe all our girls are wonderful and responsible young ladies who can do all us proud. :) I do not wish to see any girls going against all the efforts that we have put in so far.
** Every girl who participates gives us 2 PNA points for our overall award for this year. We are going to be very strict on this attendance. Girls who are not able to turn up has to produce an MC. No parents' letter is allowed. Failure to do so, the school will be issuing a letter to your parents and you may have to leave Girl Guides with all the CCA points forfeited.

Date: 21 st June 2008 (Sat)
Reporting time: Report to school at 645 am. Bus will leave at 7am SHARP.
Reporting Attire: Guide's latest black T-shirt and PE shorts. Those who doesnt have that, please get them from Angella.
Bus is taking us back from Bishan to school at 11 am.

Heritage Trail @ ZhongHua Secondary School
Date of Event: 13 June (Friday)
Reporting Time: 745am (Reaching Zhonghua at 830am)
Reporting Venue: Yuhua Sec School Foyer
Guides Involved:
1) Athena - Yong Siu Ting, Swee Hui Ming, *Liu Zhao Fang, *Lee Xue Li, Kathleen Ang
2) Artemis - Tan Ee Nexx, Loh Hui Min, Jolene Cheng, Komathi, *Ishwari
Some of the girls may not be able to make it because they have left girl guides for some reasons or another, I would like to have 3 other volunteers. You may leave a comment if you are interested. (Seniors are welcomed to join us)
Attire: GG Light Blue Polo T-shirt with PE-shorts/black or dark blue shorts.
What to bring along:
EZ link card to take public transport, as you will be travelling on their own to the Singapore River.
You should have at least $5 in your EZ link cards, though you will only be taking the MRT there and back, which will probably cost less than $1.50 in all.
You can bring your own snacks, water and umbrella/caps, since it will be a long morning for them, travelling on foot.
From last year's experience, the guides/brownies will take about 4 hours to complete the entire trail, inclusive of travelling time to and from Zhonghua Secondary School. The teams will come back to Zhonghua for the prize giving ceremony and lunch, which will be provided by our school. This will provide the girls with ample opportunity to interact and get to know each other.
The whole even will probably end around 1pm. Bus will bring us back to school.
