Dear Girl Guides,

Perhaps the message that I brought to you girls last Friday was not clear. I'm really sorry about that but here are the information that was supposed to be brought to you.

Day/Date: Wednesday (2/04/08)
Reporting time: 2.45 p.m
Attire: Full Uniform (complete with gloves, hats, whistle, belt, buckle & boots)
Venue: Outside Guide Den
Things to bring: Water bottle (At least 500ml)

As we all can see, there isn't much rehearsal held for this year's parade. Can't blame anyone for that. Hence, I really hope that everyone will put their best effort and put their heart and soul into every rehearsal and practices so as to make our marching become a tip-top quality. This is because parade is the only chance when we can prove to everyone especially the boys that we girls are good in marching and show our girl power! It's tiring, I understand but once this parade is over we can have a deserving rest and you girls can concentrate more on the coming exams.

I'll expect full attendance and the best out of you for this Wednesday and the big day itself. I know you girls can do it, that's because I've seen the best out of you girls. You girls must have confidence in yourself. Don't be afraid of creating mistakes because from there, we'll help you in telling what's right and wrong rather than being kept in the dark. This is the time to show the best in you to everyone. In fact, the best in Yuhua Girl Guides to everyone. Let's work hard together and do the best we can alright? Go Girl Guides!

Do take care of yourself, drink plenty of water, have early nights and do not skip your meals. Plus, let's not disappoint our two Ma'ms. They have faith in us, they believe we can do it and they have been giving us so much support. &I'll see you girls on Wednesday. (:

Good Job girls!

Dear ladies,

Many teachers have feedback to me that the girl guides were very helpful on the Sports Day! Great job! Many of you (Shivani, Hidayatul, Kathleen and many many more) helped out at the prize table when we required more man- (or should we say WOMEN) power. Good initiative, good teamwork and made our job fast and well done!

As for the refreshments, some girls (esp our strong Heidi) actually help carry the heavy boxes to the classes. We have also proven that we ladies don't need men around to do the job. Excellent job as well!

Last but not least, thank you Kinyu and HuiMin for being at the table, enduring all the heat from the scotching sun and then braving the rain towards the end. Thanks to Hajjar for putting everything together for us and coordinating with all the girls. Everyone contributed their part and make the event a successful one. :)

I hope to get the photograph from Mr Nazri (which we took on the vehicle). Nice one! Girl Guides not oni are helpful, we are also cool and fun.

AND on the side note, we now know that Huimin (sec 1) and Lina can really run. Next year we can nominate them for our CCA race!
